Meg Basco takes on Washington, DC!

May 8th, 2015, was the 70th anniversary of V-Day. Meg, Illinois International Jr. Miss Jr. Teen, was honored to be in Washington DC on this anniversary and spent time at the WWII memorial to honor those who had served. Several veterans were at the memorial on this special day and Meg made sure to Thank all of those who had served our country. She also had a chance to visit many of the other historic sites and met many other visitors who noticed her crown and sash. It was a great chance to meet many people and represent the great state of Illinois!
