Indiana IJM Queens help out in Hammond!

On April 11th at the Hammond Civic Center Ty'anna Baez your reigning IJM Indiana Preteen and Deja, your IJM Indiana Teen volunteered at the Hammond 10K Charity run. together the girls ran the "gear check" station. The Gear check station is where the runners/walkers left any items that they couldnt or didnt want to carry during their race. They were responsible for organizing the station and returning all items to the rightful owners.

The organization that sponsored the event was raising money to help needy children with school supplies and book bags for next school year. Not only did they help, but these IJM queens were also able to talk with the runners/walkers before the race and wish them well. Being an encouragment to others is just one of many reasons they are #IJMGirls!
