Earth Day Run gets support from our Illinois Jr. Teen!

Meg Basco, your reigning Illinois International Junior Miss Jr. Teen spent this past Saturday Morning supporting Runners who ran for the annual earth day run in Crystal Lake, IL. The event, held at the Crystal Lake Veterans Park as part of the park District was a 5K/50K Run.

Meg helped out at this event helping to keep the runners hydrated and nourished by filling water bottles and keeping the snack table full!

Meg Says " It's important to be out in the community helping out and demonstrating the impact that queens with a purpose can have" One gentleman commented that he was so impressed that Meg and fellow queens were helping out and making sandwiches, not just standing around and looking pretty. One of Meg's highlights included greeting the young runners as they crossed the finish line , and cheering on those that chose to run the full 50K!
