Emily & Abbi run for Juvenile Diabetes & the Gumdrop Organization

Abbi, your Illinois International Junior Miss Preteen and Emily, your Midwest International Junior Miss Teen ran a Fun Run and 5K to support the research for a cure for Juvenile Diabetes (JDRF) and the Gumdrop Organization! Gum Drops, NFP provides a weekend package of child-friendly food to help enhance the quality of life for at-risk children through southern, IL.

Emily and Abbi both believe that you can make a difference in the life of a child by starting local and doing what you can by finding out the needs in your community. "Both of our mothers are teachers in the same school district and they see firsthand how the children are affected by juvenile diabetes and how the numbers are growing of children that go hungry over the weekend.
