Abi Supports the Performing Arts!

Abbi Mayfield is your reigning International Junior Miss Illinois Pre-Teen and she's also a big supporter of the Performing Arts! On March 27th at the Marion Cultural Civic Center (MCCC) she attended a wonderful performance of the Musical Aladdin Jr.. The cast was from local theatre company called Artstarts. Being able to go backstage and meet some of the cast was just one of the highlights of attending this event. Abbi is also a performer herself and has performed with this theatre troupe before! Abbi had this to say about her experience: "I believe that it is important to support the arts through attending or participating in art festivals , musicals, plays, and experiencing different cultures. I know that I have grown by being involved in theatre! Who knows... "I Just Might" be on broadway one day!
