Meet the CEO and Founder of Racing Hearts 5K (She's an IJM Girl!)

Ellie Mcgee, your 2015 International Junior Miss Illinois Teen, is the CEO and founder of RACING HEARTS 5K ! Ellie hosted a 5K race with the proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Edwards Hospital .

This event featured over 100 participants including walkers, runners, and even a few four legged friends! The beautiful, sunny weather was a great bonus to this event that also included a DJ and snacks for the participants and staff. The newly elected Mayor of Naperville , Steve Chirico came to support Ellie along with several council members and families from the Ronald McDonald family room!

Our 2015 Northern Illinois International Junior Miss, Jasmine was a participant in this 5K! It's great seeing IJM Sisters supporting each other!

" The Ronald McDonald family room is a charity my family and I have worked with for years. I personally see the positive impact the family room has made on the families and patients. I wanted to create this charity as a way to raise money for this incredible charity. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to use my IJM Illinois Teen Title to bring extra awareness to this organization.
